Alyssa Cecelia Beth Hodges passed away on January 18, 2026, from a rare genetic condition known as Thanatophoric Dysplasia at Nemours Children's Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware.

Alyssa was born on November 19, 2025, at Nemours Children's Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware, the daughter of Kelsie Hudson and Keefe Hodges.

She enjoyed listening to her sister read her books, holding her parents' fingers, having her hair washed and combed, cherry Pepsi-flavored ChapStick and chocolate syrup, the sunlight streaming into her NICU room window, and being held close by her family.

Alyssa passed away in the loving arms of her mother, surrounded by the caring nurses who looked after her. She is survived by her parents, Kelsie Hudson and Keefe Hodges; sisters, Kenzleigh Mumpower and Jaylee Hodges; grandparents, Kellie and David Hudson; cousin, Christy Glenn; and many other family members and friends who loved her from across the country.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Russell and Amy Hodges; her uncle, Miles Hodges; her great-grandmother (GG), Jacquelyn Ward; and her great-grandparents, Mervin and Cecelia Sexton.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Lighthouse Baptist Church in St. George, KS. Memorial contributions can be left in care of the family.
