Dalene Christine Corbin

Feb 3, 1969 — Sep 11, 2026

Manhattan, Kansas

Dalene Christine Corbin passed away on September 11, 2026, in Topeka, Kansas. She was born on February 3, 1969, in Manhattan, Kansas, the daughter of Dale C. and Patricia A. (Mitchell) Ricker.

Dalene built a working life in the food industry and held numerous jobs over the years, including catering. Food and hospitality were a familiar part of her life, and her family’s connection to it dates back to when her parents owned a Dairy Queen. She was known as an amazing cook who could make a meal with anything, a gift that reflected both her creativity and her caring nature.

She was full of life; Dalene loved her cats and delighted in collecting frogs. She enjoyed trips to the beach with Randy and found happiness in the fun of the casino and casino games. She was very clean, hardworking, and always full of energy; she is remembered as generous and truly amazing, with a big heart. In death, that generosity continued through her organ donation.

The love of her life was Randy Sutton, and they shared 25 years together. Their life together was marked by devotion, companionship, and the many simple joys they shared. Her love for Randy extended warmly to his children, whom she embraced as her own, and to the family she cherished so deeply.

She is survived by her husband Randy Sutton, mother; Patricia Mitchell, sons; Marcus (Michelle) Bazaldua, Jeremy Corbin, Dale Corbin, bonus children; Amanda Sutton, Kristy Sutton, Randi (Thomas) Fort, brother; Joshua (Chris) Ricker, Sisters, Angela (Mark) Ricker, Sarah (Joe) French, nieces and nephews; Artie, Tyler, Hunter, Colin, Kasey, Keegan, Treston, Tatum, great- nieces and nephews, Art, Rory, Killian, Cassius, Ariya and Anastasia; and bonus-grandchildren; Na'Qyah Jackson, Tre'Ghen Jackson, Rae'Qwaun Jackson and Jameer Jackson, Aspen Spellman, Taylen Spellman.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dale C. Ricker, and grandmother, Marilyn Gates.
