David Troy Christian

August 23, 1964 — January 23, 2023

   David Troy Christian, 58, of Lee's Summit, MO, formerly of Wamego, KS, passed away on Monday (January 23, 2023) at his home. 

   Born August 23, 1964 in Hutchinson, KS, David was the son of John Alexander and Emma Darline (Adams) Christian.

   David was a self employed handyman for many years.  

   He loved muscle cars and was an avid Nascar and drag racing fan with Dale Earnhardt Sr. being his favorite driver. 

  Survivors include two daughters, Breean VanHanahan of New York and Christina Ramirez of Olathe, KS; four grandchildren and one on the way; a sister, Jacquelyn "Jackie" Fager (Robert) of Lee's Summit, MO; two step brothers, John Christian (Keryl) and Rick Christian both of Hutchinson, KS; many nieces and nephews; and his best friend, his cat, Baxter.

    David was preceded in death by his parents; a step father, George Virgo; two brothers, Randy Christian and Steve Christian; and a step brother, Jim Christian.

   Cremation services are in the care of Campanella & Stewart Funeral Home in Wamego, KS.

   Graveside inurnment will be held on Thursday afternoon (February 23, 2023) at 1:00 pm  at the Wamego City Cemetery with Pastor Jerry Tharp officiating.  Friends are invited to attend.

   Memorials are requested to the ASPCA and may be left with Campanella & Stewart Funeral Home, P. O. Box 48, Wamego, KS 66547
