Gary E. Morang, 67, of Louisville, Kansas, passed away on Saturday (November 22, 2025) at his home in Louisville.
Born June 1, 1958 in Wichita, Kansas, Gary was the son of J.R. Howard and Betty Lou (Trefethen) Morang.
Gary was married to Pamela Morang who preceded him in death on April 15, 2023.
An avid fisherman and Kansas City Chiefs fan, Gary also enjoyed watching his favorite programs on TV and sitting out in nice weather enjoying the day. He loved riding motocycles and rooting for the Kansas City Royals.
Gary worked in construction for many years, most recently with Tri State Signs until his retirement.
Survivors include his daughter, Shanondoa Dardenne of Manhattan, KS; his son, Max Morang (Jennifer) of Carl Junction, MO; a son in law, Jody Dardenne of Louisville, KS; five grandchildren, Jody Dardenne II (Shy-Ann Drake) of St. George, KS, Marshal Dardenne of Herrington, KS, Christopher Dardenne of Manhattan, KS, Patience Dardenne of Manhattan, KS and Alyvia Dardenne of Manhattan, KS; seven great grandchildren; a brother, Kim Schmidt (Bonita) of Disney, OK; three sisters, Patty Morang (Howard) of Langley, OK, Kathy Parrish (Bill) of Crestline, KS and Mary Lou Wacker (Bill) of Wichita, KS; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Pamela; three brothers, Thomas Langley and twins, Mick Morang and Rick Morang.
Cremation arrangements are in the care of Campanella & Stewart Funeral Home.
Memorial services will be private.
