Jeannelle Ann Fink

Jeannelle Ann Fink, 72, of Topeka, Kansas, passed away on Friday (August 21, 2026) at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka, where she had earned her nursing degree and worked nights for over forty years.

The only child of deceased Wabaunsee County ranchers Marguerite (Thierer) and Freddie Fink III, when she retired Jeannelle took over the family business.

She enjoyed Alma/Wabaunsee High School and Stormont Vail reunions, her beloved cats, and vacationing “at home” on the farm and taking her mother to St. John Lutheran Church.

Cremation arrangements are in the care of Campanella & Stewart Funeral Home in Alma.

Survivors include cousins Janice Salazar; Kirk, Brett, Todd Fink; and close friends Diana Kuhn, Chris and Stacy Wisneski, LaNelle Oney, Ann Birney, Amicks, and the Volland community.

She was preceded in death  by cousins Larry Fink, Larry Thierer, and Joyce Thierer.

Graveside inurnment will be 10:30 AM Saturday, September 12 th at St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Alma. This will be followed by lunch, visiting, and sharing stories in the Volland Gallery at 24098 Volland Rd.
