It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, father, and friend, Zachary Wayne Weixelman.

Zachary was born on January 1, 1997, and passed away at his home on February 20, 2026, at the age of 29.

He is lovingly survived by his parents, Pat and Angela Weixelman; his precious daughter, Paisleigh; his siblings, Candice Dean (Parker), Jean Carley (Thad), Jennifer Ebert (Jim), and Jill Wisdom (Eric); his aunts, Debbie Kemp (Timothy) and Sandy Garcia (John); his cousins, Joshua Garcia, Jacqueline Garcia, Andrew Miksch (Holly), Maggie Miksch, and many others; and his cherished nieces and nephews, Natalie Dean, Lexi Dean, Jake Eichem, Jordan Nider, Morgan Jackson, Justin Ebert, Lauren Ubel, Bailey Wisdom, Logan Carley, Jessi Ebert, Alex Wisdom, and Ethan Wisdom. He also leaves behind numerous extended family members and dear friends who will forever hold him close in their hearts.

Zach was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Dennis Weixelman, Marie Weixelman, and Beverly Stender, as well as his cherished nephew, Jayson Ebert.

Zach was a hardworking and determined young man who proudly followed in his father’s footsteps. In January of 2025, he founded Weixelman Concrete, building not only a business but a reputation grounded in integrity, dedication, and strong work ethic—just like all the Weixelmans before him.

He found joy in life’s simple pleasures. Zach loved fishing and hunting and had a special appreciation for collecting old coins and rocks that caught his eye, often bringing them home to carefully clean and admire. He treasured time spent riding his Harley-Davidson Softail, embracing the peace of the open road. Some of his happiest moments were spent with friends, cruising back roads in a pickup truck while old country songs played and laughter echoed into the night.

To know Zach was to know love. He had the biggest heart and the sweetest soul. He was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need and never hesitated to care for a stray animal, welcoming many into his home over the years. His kindness, generosity, and gentle spirit will live on in all who were blessed to know him.

Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Campanella & Stewart Funeral Home in Wamego, Kansas. A rosary will follow at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at Campanella & Stewart Funeral Home in Wamego, Kansas, with Father Mike Peterson officiating.

Zach’s family will announce suggested memorial contributions at a later date. Cards and condolences may be sent in care of Campanella & Stewart Funeral Home, P.O. Box 48, Wamego, Kansas, 66547.

Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we are deeply grateful for the 29 years we shared with Zach. His love, laughter, and light will remain with us always.
